What CoCC Advocates Do -
4. Networking, Sharing
4. Networking, Sharing
It is always a great delight to meet with other advocates from other communities to hear their stories and share yours. Keeping in touch with people and organizations who can provide other needed resources is also an important part of being an advocate. We conduct quarterly Advocate Support Group (ASG) meetings. Here you can listen or share ideas over the Zoom online video conferencing platform with others doing similar work. You can learn a lot just from attending these meetings. Plus your own local group can greatly benefit.
The Bible
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:20)
“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” (Acts 2:42)
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
“… for with God all things are possible.” (Mark 10:27)
Science and Health
When the divine precepts are understood, they unfold the foundation of fellowship, in which one mind is not at war with another, but all have one Spirit, God, one intelligent source, in accordance with the Scriptural command: “Let this Mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” (S&H 276:4–9)
The rich in spirit help the poor in one grand brotherhood, all having the same Principle, or Father; and blessed is that man who seeth his brother’s need and supplieth it, seeking his own in another’s good. (S&H 518:15–19)
